Education Tool Shed is a free curriculum and educational resource library. We are a clearinghouse, where families can donate used educational materials or curricula and other families can check them out to be used once more -- a recycling service... of sorts.

Hello Education Tool Shed Community!
We’re excited to introduce ourselves as the new Lending Library Coordinators for the Education Tool Shed! I’m Sara Satterfield, and alongside a group of dear homeschooling mama friends from the Calvary Homeschool Cooperative, we are honored to step into this role and steward a resource that has blessed our families—and so many others—for years.
First, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to Sarah and Jessica, who lovingly built and faithfully cared for this library over the past ten years. Their hard work, vision, and dedication have made the Tool Shed a true blessing to homeschool families across our region. We’re so grateful for the countless hours they’ve poured into making this space a resource and refuge for learning.
As we step into this new season, our goal is to continue their mission — providing families with access to rich educational materials, creative tools, and Christ-centered resources. We’re eager to keep this community thriving and growing!
There will be a brief pause in operations as we organize, update, and prepare for reopening. Once everything is ready, we’ll announce new open days and hours — and we can’t wait to welcome you back!
Stay tuned for updates, and we’ll see you soon!
With gratitude,
Sara & The Calvary Homeschool Cooperative Lending Library Team

The Tool Shed is Changing Hands but Staying OPEN
Hello Tool Shed Communty-
The Tool Shed will continue to bless this community under new leadership. Sometimes change is the best thing for an organization and I think that it's the right time for the Tool Shed to change hands.
Sarah and I started the Tool Shed library 10 years ago and spent many hours building it into something we hope has been a service for our community. During the last 10 years we have had the pleasure of providing curriculum and support to hundreds of families from Davis to Tahoe. Circumstances called Sarah away from the library a few years ago and I have been trying to run it by myself since then but the needs of my family are pulling me in a different direction.
It has been my genuine pleasure to run the Tool Shed for all these years. I have enjoyed serving our community and getting to know all of you very much. I am sad to be leaving the Tool Shed but I'm also thrilled to be passing it to a couple of amazing women who are excited to keep it running!
Because of the transition the Tool Shed will no longer be open on the second Thursday of each month. The new leaders will choose new dates and times for opening the Tool Shed. They will announce the new times once they get everything ready to re-open.
The shutdown will be TEMPORARY. The Tool Shed will re-open very soon. Be patient, and when the library re-opens please come by and meet Sarah and her partners. Don't forget to thank them for keeping the library open for all of us to continue using.
Thank you so much for allowing me to support education in your family for so long.
Jessica
